Growing Healthy Together means having open communication with your child’s healthcare provider.  Whether you need to call us, text over a photo, or send a quick email, we’re plugged in and we’re here for you.

If you’re new to our office, please call (562) 473-4441 to schedule a consultation or regular appointment with an experienced nurse practitioner.

If you’ve been in the office already, please sign up for (or log in to) our patient portal, where you can:

  • make and check appointments,
  • send us messages,
  • find forms,
  • and access your lab results and health data.

If you need a same-day appointment, please call (562) 473-4441 Monday through Friday 9:00 am – 4:30 pm, or Saturday 9 am – 11:30 pm.

Well Visits

Schedule wellness visits, physicals and new patients with complex histories (autism, ADD, etc) one to two months in advance.

Schedule of Visits

  • Prenatal
  • Newborn check (in hospital)
  • 1 – 3 days after discharge from hospital
  • Two weeks
  • 2, 4, 6, 9, 12, 15 & 18 months
  • Ages 2 – 6 years, wellness visits are scheduled once a year
  • Ages 6 – 22 years, wellness visits are scheduled every other year (unless required annually for sports or school)

Avoid calling between 8am and 10am unless it’s urgent. Same-day sick appointments are filled in order, so call early for earlier same-day appointments.

Appointment Policies

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please cancel within three hours by calling (562) 473-4441.  After three consecutive “No Show” appointments or cancellations after the appointment has lapsed, you may be charged.

Growing Healthy Together would like to thank all of our patients and families for choosing us as your pediatric provider.  We strive to provide the best medical care possible.  With your help, our practice has grown significantly in the past two years and we are grateful to you and your family. As our community of families grows, we have experienced greater demand for same-day appointments and sick visits.  We make every effort to provide prompt medical care to all of our patients.

In order for our office to operate effectively and provide the best service to you and your family, we need your cooperation with the following late and no-show policies. Your clear understanding of these policies is very important. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

No Shows: 

If you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. A “No Show” is when a patient fails to keep a scheduled appointment. This results in a missed opportunity to give your reserved time to another family that may need it.  A “No Show” will generate a $25 fee and three no-shows may require that you seek your medical care elsewhere. In the event that you have a special circumstance regarding your missed appointment, please contact our office staff. We understand that there may be issues beyond your control and aim to be understanding of special circumstances.

Late Appointments:

If you are delayed and cannot make an appointment on time, please call to let us know and provide an estimated time of arrival. Any significant delay may require the visit to be rescheduled.  If you are late, please understand that patients who arrived on time will be seen first.

Growing Healthy Together takes the following insurance. If you do not see your provider, we will provide an invoice for your visit. You may submit the invoice to your insurance plan for partial reimbursement. Growing Healthy Together does accept Healthcare Savings Plan credit cards.


We accept Visa, MasterCard, cash, checks, and debit cards.

Unpaid Accounts

We take many steps to avoid collections, however, if your account is placed with a collections agency; you will be assessed a collection fee. This will be added to your final balance placed with the collection agency and you will also be responsible for all legal fees and court costs involved.
