Growing Healthy Together means having open communication with your child’s healthcare provider.  Whether you need to call us, text over a photo, or send a quick email, we’re plugged in and we’re here for you.

If you’re new to our office, please call (562) 473-4441 to schedule a consultation or regular appointment with an experienced nurse practitioner.

If you’ve been in the office already, please log in to our patient portal, where you can:

  • make and check appointments except for sick or vaccine-only appointments,
  • send us messages,
  • find forms,
  • and access your lab results and health data.

If you do not have access to the patient portal, please request a link by calling us at (562) 473-4441 or emailing us at ght@ghtkids.com.

 

Well Visits

Schedule wellness visits, physicals and new patients with complex histories (autism, ADD, etc) one to two months in advance.

Schedule of Pediatric Well Checks

  • 1 – 3 days after birth or discharge from hospital
  • Two weeks old (if medically necessary)
  • 2, 4, 6, 9, 12, 15 & 18 months old
  • 2 years old and 2½ years old
  • Ages 3 – 21 years old, one wellness or school physical is covered per year

Sick Visits: Booked as quick, maximum 15-minute appointments focused on the chief complaint.

Vaccine only: Fast turn-around appointments scheduled for pre-planned vaccines.  Only for established patients.  Vaccine planning requires a separate consultation with a provider.  Copays and deductibles will apply for consultations.

Appointment Policies

Please cancel or reschedule appointments before 8 AM one day before the appointment by calling (562) 473-4441.  A $25 late fee applies for late, same-day cancellations and no-show appointments.  Three no-shows or same-day cancellations may result in discharge from the practice.

Our providers need adequate time to provide quality care.  If you are significantly late to your appointment, we will ask you to reschedule and you will be charged a $25 fee.

In order for our office to operate effectively and provide the best service to you and your family, we need your cooperation with our appointment policies. Your clear understanding of these policies is very important. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

Payment of Fees and Unpaid Accounts

Payment is expected at the time of service.  We take many steps to avoid collections.  However, if your account to forwarded to a collections agency, you will be assessed a collection fee. This will be added to your final balance placed with the collection agency and you will also be responsible for all legal fees and court costs involved.
