Pricing Increase

Starting February 1st, our pricing will increase. We have kept this adjustment as minimal as possible while ensuring we can maintain the quality and accessibility of our services. We understand that price changes can be an adjustment, and we want to ensure you know this decision was made with careful consideration. Our priority is always your family’s well-being, and we remain dedicated to providing compassionate and effective care. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us at (562) 473-4441. We sincerely appreciate your continued support and look forward to serving you.

Major Changes:

  • Cash pay rate is increasing to $185 per visit.
  • New Concierge Plan contracts are $99 per month for the first year, then decrease to $75 per month in the second year. Patients must complete their first year with the concierge plan to enroll in the second year. Concierge patients must attend all appointments to stay enrolled.
  • Routine vaccine price increases

Lab Wednesdays

The lab is now in the office on Wednesdays, no longer on Thursdays. If you would like to have labs done in our office, please call to schedule your lab appointment during our office hours on Wednesdays.

February is…

National Children’s Dental Health Month

This national health observance helps promote good oral health. We at GHT are strong proponents of regular dental cleanings and good dental hygiene.

Dental Hygiene Tips

  • For babies who don’t have teeth yet, wipe the gums twice a day with a soft, clean cloth.
  • Brush at least twice a day. Opt for a soft-bristled toothbrush for babies with new teeth.
  • Try an electric toothbrush with a timer to ensure your child brushes for the recommended 2 minutes.
  • Consider a fluoride toothpaste.
  • Use a pea-sized amount of toothpaste and remember always to spit it out, rather than swallow it.
  • Start going to the dentist around your baby’s first birthday to help monitor dental health and prevent cavities.
  • Brush teeth as a family to help coach kids on good brushing skills.

National Cancer Prevention Month

Learn about cancer prevention and spread awareness!

American Heart Month

Cardiovascular disease can start in childhood, so it’s vital to learn healthy heart habits early.

How to Keep Your Child’s Heart Healthy

  1. Be active. Moving our bodies includes everything from play to chores to organized sports. The AAP recommends that kids over 6 years old get at least 60 minutes of exercise every day.
  2. Eat heart-healthy. Eating whole foods and prioritizing a healthy diet are two of the best ways we can keep our hearts healthy. Avoid processed foods that are high in sugar and saturated fats, two of the significant risk factors for heart disease.
  3. Check your family history. If your family has a history of high cholesterol, regular screenings can help you support your child early in life.
  4. Practice good sleep hygiene. Loss of sleep can lead to a slew of other issues, such as weight gain, stress, and poor dietary choices. Healthy sleep is vital to heart health!
  5. Minimize stress. Make time to relax by scheduling screen-free time and promoting unstructured play. Practice things like yoga, reading, meditation, or journaling to help relieve stress.
